Jay Leno's Garage

Shortly after the completion of the Playmate AMX's restoration, word reached Jay Leno's Garage and on April 1, 2015 (no April Fools Day Joke) the car was taped for an episode. Jay Leno drove the car around his shop's neighborhood on a road test and commented the car was nicely restored.

If This Car Could Talk

The pink AMX was videotaped in May, 2023 for an episode of "If This Car Could Talk" Youtube channel.

My Car Story with Lou Costabile

The Playmate AMX was taped for an episode of My Car Story while in Rockford, IL at the 2016 American Motors Owners Convention.

January 2016

Muscle Car Review called their 4 page layout "Pretty In Pink." The article includes photos of Chelsea Fletcher, daughter of local AMC enthusiast Mark Fletcher, posing with the car with the purpose of re-creating the 1968 Playboy issue that included the car and Playmate.
